A new entrance on Monte Catria, the “Cani Sciolti Abyss”

Martedì 24 Giugno 2008

News by Andrea Bonci

A new entrance in Monte Catria (between Marche and Umbria, in the middle of Italy), the “Cani Sciolti Abyss”.
During last winter a new and very interesting entrance has been discovered on the Monte Catria top.
The vertical line of the cave is a tectonics gap between majolica and diasprimi limes, but the hope, seeing the substantive air flow, is that to access in the lime piece deepness.
