the call for abstracts and registration for the KR6 meeting is now open. We hope to welcome you and to serve you a feast of science on speleothems and sediments in caves (and associated modern cave processes) and their use in constructing palaeo-records. Please go to www.kr6conference.org You can contact me for scientific queries, but please get in touch with Marian Jordan (m.a.jordan@bham.ac.uk) for administrative issues.

Please note the different deadlines on the website. The first one is the 28th February if you want to attend the Irish pre-conference field trip. This early deadline allows us to firm up transport and accommodation. The abstract deadline is 14th March. Space will be limited in the oral programme as we will not have parallel sessions and talks will be selected by the organizing committee from the submitted abstracts. There will be plenty of time for poster discussions.

If you want the convenience of University accommodation be sure to register early as the supply is limited, but the final deadline anyway is 11th May. There is plenty of accommodation elsewhere in the city of course and you can reach the University easily by train as there is a station on-campus.

Payment for registration is via card on our on-line shop. The way this works is that the person who is paying first gives their details, then you can provide details of the delegate for whom you are paying (you or someone else!). This way if your organization has a corporate credit card this can be used for delegates.

looking forward to welcoming you to KR6!

best wishes,

Ian
