in Memoria di WALDEMAR BURKACKI
Regolamento Edizione 2006
Concezione ed organizzazione del Concorso a cura dello Speleoklub
stowarzyszenie Warszawski di Varsavia, codice postale 00-666Â Noakowskiego
10 street, flat no. 12, indicando riferimento Organizzazione.
Il soggetto del Concorso è la fotografia speleologica con soggetti le grotte
e il loro ambiente naturale, compresi gli aspetti sportivi ed estetici.
Il Concorso è aperto a tutti i fotografi: amatori e professionisti.
I membri del Comitato Organizzatore dello Speleoklub lo stowarzyszenie di
Warszawski così come i giurati e le loro famiglie non possono partecipare al
Concorso.

La tecnica per fare gli scatti può essere scelta liberamente dal Concorrente.
Gli autori possono spedire il loro lavoro in due forme: singoli scatti o serie di scatti.
Le serie di scatti verranno considerate come un singolo scatto.
Gli scatti spediti devono soddisfare le condizioni seguenti:
Il numero massimo di pezzi che può essere spedito da un autore è 10.
Il numero massimo di scatti di una serie è 5.
Gli scatti stampati su carta fotografica devono avere il seguente formato:
– il lato più corto di minimo 20 cm
– il lato più lungo di massimo 50 cm
Formati difformi non saranno accettati per il Concorso.
Gli scatti spediti per il Concorso non dovranno essere incollati o
incorniciati.
Ogni fotografia (un solo scatto od ognuno di una serie) deve essere
descritta sul retro riportando le seguenti informazioni:
– numero;
– titolo;
– sigla autore (timbro, ecc.).
soprattutto – in caso di serie – il numero della fotografia dovrebbe
contenere anche delle lettere alfabetiche in una sequenza che rappresenta
l’ordine nel quale devono essere mostrate le fotografie della serie, p.
es..: 1a, 1b 1c per le prime tre fotografie della prima serie… ecc.
Ogni confezione contenete i ritratti che costituiscono una serie, secondo
Regolamento, dovrebbe essere completato da una busta che contiene la sigla
dell’autore e ben visibile, il nominativo del Concorrente scritto
obbligatoriamente in stampatello secondo il Form del Concorso.
Il Form sarà  disponibile sul sito web del Concorso a partire dal 1 marzo
2006.
I lavori già presentati l’anno scorso non possono partecipare all’edizione
corrente.
I lavori inviati saranno trattati con la massima cura, ma gli Organizzatori
declinano ogni responsabilità in caso di perdita o danno incorso durante il
trasporto postale.
Il Concorrente, quale autore delle fotografie detiene tutti i diritti di
proprietà delle stesse ed è responsabile dell’accordo rilasciato dalle
eventuali persone che vi appaiono sia alla pubblicazione sia alla
divulgazione in pubblico.
Gli Organizzatori non sono responsabili per conseguenze dovute a
descrizione erronea o illeggibile delle fotografie fatte dal loro autore e l’eventuale
conseguente esclusione di tale lavoro dal Concorso.
Gli Organizzatori si riservano il diritto di escludere i lavori che non
soddisfano le condizioni qui descritte.
I lavori dovranno essere inviati per lettera con imbottitura rigida (non un
pacco!).
Tutte le informazioni postali saranno rese note con un Form entro il 1°
marzo.
Ai lavori saranno assegnati premi e valutazione dalla Giuria del 5th
International Cave Photography Contest in Memoria di Waldemar Burkacki,
nominata dall’Organizzazione del Concorso.
I premi seguenti verranno assegnati durante il Concorso:
1° premio di PNL 1 500 in valuta
2° premio di PNL 1 000 in valuta
3 premi speciali (in materiale)
Ogni autore può ricevere solo un premio
La Giuria si riserva il diritto di distribuire i premi in maniera
differente.
Il verdetto della Giuria è senza appello.
Scadenze del Concorso:
– 1 febbraio 2006 – divulgazione del Regolamento del Concorso
– 1 marzo 2006 – divulgazione del Form del Concorrente
– dal 1 luglio – fino al 29 settembre 2006 – tempo utile per sottoporre
lavori (fa fede la data di consegna all’Organizzazione)
– 30 settembre – 8 ottobre 2006 – esame dei lavori
– 9 ottobre 2006 – i Concorrenti saranno informati sui risultati e questi
saranno pubblicati sulla pagina web dell’Organizzazione.
Le copie dei lavori inviati per il Concorso saranno conservate a cura dell’Organizzazione
nell’archivio relativo al Concorso stesso.
L’Organizzazione si riserva il diritto di distribuire ripetutamente e
pubblicare copia dei lavori in relazione agli scopi del Concorso:
presentandoli in esposizioni e mostre,
riproducendoli in cataloghi, media ed internet o utilizzandoli per
operazioni di marketing destinate a promuovere il Concorso stesso.
La richiesta di partecipazione del lavoro per il Concorso varrÃ
implicitamente come approvazione del Regolamento su esposto, così come
beneplacito per l’utilizzo dei dati personali del Concorrente in accordo con
la Legge sulla Protezione dei Dati Personali del 29 agosto 1997.
I premi per il Concorso qui descritti, se dovessero eccedere PLN 760 in
valuta, saranno soggetti a tassazione personale pari al 10% del valore del
premio stesso che sarà trattenuta a cura dell’Organizzazione e versata all’Ufficio
preposto.
Il Concorso non si configura come lotteria in accordo con la Legge del 29
luglio 1992 sulle lotterie.
Le contestazioni sull’interpretazioni del Regolamento sono risolte dall’Organizzazione
del Concorso.
Ogni altro problema qui non menzionato verrà risolto in base alle norme del
Codice Civile.

in Commemoration of WALDEMAR BURKACKI
2006 Edition Statute
The concept and organisation of the Contest is provided by Speleoklub
Warszawski stowarzyszenie based in Warsaw, postal code 00-666, at
Noakowskiego 10 street, flat no. 12, referred to as the Organiser.
The subject of the Contest is caving photography depicting caves as
far as their natural, sport and aesthetic values are concerned.
The Contest is open to all photographers: amateur and professionals.
Members of Organising Comitee of Speleoklub Warszawski stowarzyszenie
as well as the jurors and their families cannot participate in the
Contest.

The Contestants are given free will to issue any piece of art. The
technique for making pictures can be chosen by a Contestant.
The authors can send their work in two forms: single pictures or
picture cycles. Picture cycle will be treated and evaluated as a
single piece of work.
The pictures sent must meet the following conditions:
A maximum number of pieces that can be sent by one author is 10.
A maximum of pictures in a cycle is 5.
The pictures, enlarged on photo paper should have the following
format:
– the shorter side of 20 cm at minimum
– the longer side of 50 cm at maximum
The pictures the format of which shall differ from the one above will
not be a subject to the Contest
The pictures sent for the Contest cannot be pasted or framed
Each photography (a single picture as well as every each one in a
cycle) should be described on the backside with the following
information:
. number;
. title;
. author’s sign (stamp etc.)
above all that – in case of cycles – the number of the photo should
also contain alphabetical letters in a sequence representing the
order in which the photos from the cycle are to be shown, e.g.: 1a,
1b, 1c for the first three photos in the first cycle… etc.
each package,containing the pictures constituting one piece of work,
under the conditions of the statute should be supplemented by an
envelope containing author’s sign inside of which an obligatory
Contestant’s Form – filled in capital letters – must be placed.
The Form will be made available at the website of the Contest from
the 1st of March 2006
The works which were awarded a place last year cannot take part in
current edition of the Contest.
The sent pieces of work shall be treated with utmost solicitude, but
the Organisers do not take responsibility in case of loss or damage
incurred in postal transport.
The Contestant is an author of the published photos and as such
states that he or she possesses unlimited and sole property rights to
the submitted photos and that all the people appearing in the images
agree to have themselves published and showed in public.
The Organisers do not take responsibility for consequences of
erroneous or illegible description of the photos made by their author
and the resulting exclusion of such work from the Contest.
The Organisers reserve the right to exclude the works that do not
meet the conditions described herein.
The works are to be submitted in a rigid packaging via postal letter
(not a package!). All the postal information will be announced with a
Contestant Form, March 1st.
The works will be granted awards and evaluation by the Jury of the
5th International Cave Photography Contest in Commemoration of
Waldemar Burkacki appointed by the Organiser of the Contest.
The following prizes shall be awarded in the Contest:
I prize of PLN 1500 in value
II prize of PLN 1000 in value
3 special prizes (material prizes)
One author can be awarded one prize only.
The Jury reserves the right to distribute the prizes in a different
manner
The verdict of the Jury is final.
The timing of the Contest:
– 1st of February 2006 – anouncement of the Statute of the Contest
– 1st of March 2006 – anouncement of the Contestant’s Form
– from the 1st of July – till the 29th of September 2006 – the time
for submitting of the work (counted against the time the package is
delivered to the Organiser)
– 30th of September – 8th of October 2006 – judging panel
– 9th of October 2006 – the Contestants will be noted on the results
and the results shall be published on the webpage of the Organiser.
The ownership of the entries submitted for the Contest shall be
hereby transferred to the Organisers, remaining in the archives of
the Contest.
The Organisers reserve the right to repeatedly distribute, publish,
record, copy the works for the purposes of the Contest meaning:
presenting the exhibits, presenting their reproductions in catalogue,
media and internet as well as in special marketing publishings that
promote the Contest.
The submittance of the work for the Contest shall be hereby
understood as an approval of the Statute set forth as well as a
consent to disclose the personal data of the Contestant in accordance
with the Legal Act on Protection of Personal Data of 29th of August
1997.
Prizes for the Contest described herein, should they exceed PLN 760
in value, will be subject to personal taxation of 10% of the value of
the prize that shall be collected by the Organiser and transferred to
appropriate Tax Office.
The Contest is not a sweepstake in accordance with Legal Act of 29 th
of July 1992 about lotteries.
The final interpretation of the Statute is reserved for the Organiser
of the Contest and the Jury thereof.
Any other issues not mentioned herein will be solved by the
regulation of the Civil Code.
