Ballina, County Mayo
SUICRO is heading to the Northwest 27th-30th October 2006, this time to Ballina, north County Mayo
The town is set within the limestone lowlands between Killala Bay and Lough Conn with the mountains of Nephin Beg to the west and the Ox Mountains to the east. The symposium wil be held at the Ridge Pool Hotel, on the banks of the River Moy.

A number of caves are found in the region including the Aille River Cave (nr Westport) one of Irelands largest river caves and the Kesh caves (nr Ballymote).
