The International Year of Caves and Karst is organized by the International Union of Speleology (UIS) to celebrate caves and karst internationally and teach the world about their importance.
This is a huge job. It cannot be done alone, which is why we excited to announce we now have more than 200 national and international organizations partnering with us—202 to be exact! Look at our list of partners at http://iyck2021.org/index.php/partners/ .

Of course, most are cave organizations, but you will find many and major non-speleological organizations too.
This is critically important because they show that caves are important to everyone.
If your organization hasn’t joined, please do.
There is no cost or application process.
All you need to do is simply send your logo and website address to the website manager, whose address is near the top of the Partners page, and then we ask you to organize one or more events, programs, activities, or publicity in your area to help us reach and teach the world.
We also continue to make progress through our partners with our events. We have had 187 successful events so far (http://iyck2021.org/index.php/event-results), and another 124 are coming soon (http://iyck2021.org/index.php/events).
We encourage you to plan your own events and activities for the International Year, no matter how small, and please and send them in the simple format to the website manager.
It will take less than 5 minutes, and you can help teach the “hole” world!
