The principal object of the congress is to exchange the experience acquired at the international and national level in the field of speleological and speleo-underwater research in artificial hypogea (works of anthropogenic origin and of archaeological-historical interest), the promotion of the underground historical and cultural heritage, its safeguard and exploitation.
Principale obiettivo del congresso è la condivisione delle esperienze maturate in ambito nazionale ed internazionale nel campo delle indagini speleologiche e speleo-subacquee in ipogei artificiali (opere di origine antropica ed interesse storico–archeologico), nella divulgazione del patrimonio storico, culturale e ambientale sotterraneo e nella sua tutela e valorizzazione.
