Dal 23 giugno al 2 luglio in Nuova Zelanda si riunirà una commissione dell’UNESCO per decidere se ammettere ai siti dichiarati patrimonio dell’umanità anche il sistema carsico nel sud della Cina che copre per 500 mila km quadri (quasi il doppio dell’Italia): in particolare la foresta di pietra di Shilin e le torri carsiche di Libo, e poi i Tubi di Lava sull’isola di Jeju, in Corea del Sud.
Poi alla fine decideranno, perchè tra questi siti ci sono moltissimi altri luoghi di interesse storico e naturalistico, in Italia ce ne soo moltissimi, interi centri storici di Roma, Napoli, Firenze, Siena, i Sassi di Matera, il Parco del Vallo di Adriano e del Cilento, Villa Adriana e giù discorrendo.
Comunque è un byuon segno che nelle ultime 5 segnalazioni ce ne siano due, la zona carsica della Cina e i Tubi di lava della Corea, che riguardano il sottosuolo. Bisognerebbe fare una ricerca approfondita, sarebbe molto simpatico spulciare quali sono le grotte o i complessi carsici dichiaratio patrimonio dell’Umanità , mi sembra che ci sia già dentro Jarrito a Cuba.
