Call for abstract
We invite you to submit an abstract to the Session TS3.2 ?The contribution of Speleology to the Geological Sciences?.
Conveners: Mario PARISE e Jo DE WAELE
The importance of speleological explorations for the development of the geological sciences will be emphasised in this session. The exploration and research activities carried out in karst areas and in caves are in fact essential for several exceptional scientific discoveries in the fields of geomorphology, hydrogeology, seismology, paleoclimatic and paleo-environmental reconstructions, mineralogy, geomicrobiology, paleontology and paleoanthropology.
